Transform the life of your cold-blooded companions with our impressive selection of reptile heat lamps. Bring a slice of their natural habitat right into your home, offering your pets a warm and nurturing environment they'll love.
Reptiles are ectothermic, or cold-blooded, which means they cannot regulate their own body temperature like mammals can. Instead, they depend on external heat sources to maintain their body temperature, and to facilitate basic metabolic functions like digestion, heart rate, and respiration.
In the wild, reptiles use the sun's heat and light to warm themselves. In captivity, a heat lamp is used to mimic this natural heat and light source.
Reptiles require a basking spot in the enclosure set to their preferred body temperature. At the opposite end of the enclosure, they should have their "cool end". Reptiles are great at sensing environmental temperatures, and having a range of temperatures in their enclosure will allow them to regulate their body temperature by moving between the areas as needed.
