Vetsense Biotin Hoof Powder
Suitable for: All horse on grain-based diets, foals and young horses, pregnant mares, horses fed sub-tropical grasses and hays, and horses with hoof problems such as cracks, brittleness and separation of the white line.
Vetsense Animal Health is a family owned business who formulate a range of quality products for animals, whether they be your pet, passion or profession. Australian made and owned, Vetsense follow strict quality guidelines to ensure all their products for horses, dogs, cats, and poultry are both safe and effective.
Vetsense Biotin Hoof Powder is a Biotin, Calcium, Phosphorus and Zinc supplement to aid in maintaining healthy hoof growth and coats in horses. High-grain diets and sub-tropical grasses are commonly low in calcium or contain oxalates which bind the calcium, making it unavailable to the horse. Calcium deficiencies can impact the growth and formation of the hoof wall and may lead to growth abnormalities in young animals, bone and joint disorders.
Directions for use: Mix well into the horses dry feed. Each scoop contains 30g of Vetsense Biotin, giving 15mg of Biotin active per serve.
For horses (450 - 600kg): 30g (1 scoop) daily.
For ponies (225 - 250kg): Give 15g (1/2 scoop) daily.

These are broad guidelines only, designed to assist with feeding your pet based on their weight, age and activity level. Always check the feeding charts on your pet's food packaging in conjunction with these feeding guidelines. Required amounts may differ between individual pets, and adjustments may be required to maintain optimal body weight.
Once or twice daily feeding is recommended for adult dogs, unless otherwise specified by your veterinarian. Puppies and kittens require feeding more regularly, with the total portion divided into three or four meals throughout the day. Ensure fresh water is available at all times.
