After a long day of fun and play, nothing beats the feeling of settling down in a cosy and comfortable bed. Whether your dog is indoors, outdoors, if you've got a new puppy or a senior dog, choosing the right bed for them makes a big difference.
We understand how important it is for your dogs to get quality sleep and recharge for the next fun-filled day. Shop from our selection of beds for dogs of all ages, sizes, and needs. Looking for something to keep your dog cool during the summer? Or something warm and cosy for the winter? We have you covered with our extensive range of dog beds that offer both comfort and style.
Dog beds offer a safe, secure place for your dogs to rest and recover. Dogs of all ages can benefit from having their own bed to sleep in, but this can be especially important for senior dogs or those who may have mobility issues.
With the turns of the seasons, having the right bed for your dog helps to regulate their body temperature. In hotter weather, keep your dog cool with mats that contain a cooling gel or beds designed for better airflow and ventilation. When the temperatures drop, beds made with thermo-reflective materials can ensure your dog stays warm and toasty.
With so many options out there, how do you choose the right bed for your dog? We start first with getting the right size bed for your dog.
Have a tape measure handy when your dog is sleeping soundly. Measure out a rectangle around the area they are sleeping and add an extra 30cm to all sides to ensure there is plenty of room for them to stretch and move about.
Next, we have to consider how your pet likes to sleep. Do they like curling up? A bolster bed may be best for them. Do they like to stretch or move around a lot as they sleep? A cushion or a mat style bed would be a better option for them. Maybe your dog prefers catching z's in an enclosed space? In this case, they may prefer a hideaway or igloo bed.
There are plenty of other options too like elevated beds, cooling or self-heating beds, and kennels as well for outdoor dogs. For more information, check out our guide on choosing the best dog bed.
Beds provide dogs a safe and comfortable space to rest and take refuge in. Many dogs may choose to nap on the floor and this isn't always a problem but prolonged periods on a hard, firm surface may be uncomfortable and in some cases, dogs can develop calluses or sores which can be more common for skinnier or senior dogs. A bed provides them support and cushioning for maximum comfort.
