At Pet Circle we stock a premium selection of freeze dried dog food designed to offer a nutrient-dense, natural diet to your favourite pooch. Our range focuses on providing the nutritional balance and variety that every dog needs, while also catering to specific dietary requirements.
The magic of our freeze dog food lies in the quality and variety of the ingredients used, as well as the preservation methods employed. Our products feature a wide array of wholesome ingredients including high-quality proteins like chicken, beef, and fish, along with fruits, vegetables, and beneficial grains. These ingredients undergo minimal processing to ensure they retain their natural goodness.
The preservation methods used - freeze-drying are designed to remove moisture while preserving the food's nutritional content, flavour, and texture. These processes mimic nature's preservation method, making these foods an excellent way to feed your dog a diet close to what their wild ancestors would have eaten, but with the safety and convenience that comes with a commercially prepared product.

Whether your dog has specific dietary requirements due to their age, breed, size, or certain health conditions that may require a novel or a single protein diet, or if you're simply looking for a balanced, natural diet option, we have you covered. These dog food provide a convenient, shelf-stable way to provide your dogs with the nutritional benefits of raw food without the hassle of preparation or concerns about food safety.
It can depend on what you're really looking for. Both freeze-dried dog food and premium quality kibble offer optimal nutrition for dogs, providing them essential nutrients for health and overall well-being. They differ largely in how they are prepared, with freeze-dried dog food being minimally processed and dehydrated at very low temperatures, while kibble is essentially the opposite, with raw ingredients being processed, mixed, cooked and extruded. They each have their own advantages. Freeze-dried food is very nutrient-dense and excellent for travelling as you can travel light and rehydrate the food into a larger volume when you're ready to feed it to your dog. Kibble is often the more easily available and affordable option, making it a reliable choice for many pet parents.
It is important to check the label and keep in mind that freeze-dried food typically requires rehydration before feeding to enhance digestibility; a small pack of freeze-dried food would result in a larger volume of food when water is added. The daily feeding amounts would depend on your dog's specific age, weight, body and size/breed. Please note however that these are only just recommendations and how much you feed your dog can be adjusted to ensure they are at a good body condition score. You may also reach out to your veterinarian to ensure you're feeding the appropriate amount of food for your pets.
