Dog harnesses are an essential accessory for any dog owner, providing a comfortable and secure way to walk your dog. With a harness, you can avoid unnecessary strain on your dog's neck that can occur when using a collar. At Pet Circle we stock a wide variety of dog harnesses online, in a great range of styles and sizes to suit your dog's needs.
Our range of harnesses are designed with convenience in mind, allowing for easy use day in day out. To ensure a proper fitting harness, measure your dog's neck and chest circumference, and consult the size guide provided by the manufacturer. Familiarize yourself with different harness styles and their advantages, and consider your dog's specific needs when selecting a harness.
Our range of dog harnesses include:
All For Paws Travel Harness - "Have tried many car harnesses but this one has been the safest and easiest to use for my mini schnauzer and mini schnoodle"
Fuzzyyard Dog Step In Harness - "I have a very wriggly puppy and this harness is so easy to use, just paws in, pull up and it closes with velcro and an outer clip, it is secure, comfortable and cute on her - I will be getting more of these for sure!"
Rufus and Coco Mesh Harness in Black - "The small size was a great fit for my pug. Good quality material and very easy to put on."
There are a number of different styles of harness. To ensure a proper fitting harness, you will first need a tape measure to get some important measurements of your dog. Most dog harnesses will require a neck circumference, where the collar would sit and a chest circumference, ideally the widest part of the chest. Always check the size guide provided by the manufacturer for the correct fit and any additional measurements required.
Some styles of harness will have a section to slip over the head, then feed the arms through in between the head and chest sections. Step-in styles can be laid out flat, and your dog's legs placed into sections to then feed through and fasten.
The easiest way to fit a harness is to identify the top of the harness which will usually have a clip for the dog leash, then the front of the harness which is usually has the smaller circumference.
