Author Profile
Dr. Tiffany Barnsdale, BVSc (Hons)
Dr Tiffany Barnsdale is one of Pet Circle's qualified veterinarians. She graduated from the University of Queensland in 2017 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science with honours. After graduating, Dr Tiffany moved to New Zealand where she worked in a mixed animal practice in the lower South Island. Tiffany, her young family and their 2 dogs moved back to Brisbane at the start of 2021!
Dr Tiffany loves being a vet, she enjoys the variety of species and cases she gets to see on a daily basis. She has a special interest in bovine medicine and surgery, small animal preventative medicine and small animal nutrition.
Dr. Tiffany's Pets
Tiffany has 2 gorgeous Kelpie X's that she acquired while she was studying at university. She snuck her first dog, Harley home in her first week of vet school after finding him abandoned on campus. It was love at first sight and he hasn't left her side since!
The next addition, Bonnie, came in the first week of her final year (she thinks she did well to not have 20 dogs by then). Bonnie required treatment for a rare disease and was supposed to be put up for adoption once she was better, but alas she never left.
Harley and Bonnie are well travelled, following Tiffany to New Zealand and then back to Brisbane again where they are enjoying the warmth! They are the best fur brother and fur sister to the newest (human) additions to the family.
At Pet Circle
Dr Tiffany joined the Pet Circle team in late 2021. As part of the Vet Squad, Tiffany works directly with customers to help them with pet care advice. She also writes educational articles that can be found on the Vet Tips page.
Dr Tiffany's favourite part about working at Pet Circle is being able to provide easily accessible and factual information to pet owners all over Australia. She loves speaking with customers who use the live chat function and finding out all about their pets (the cute photos are a bonus)!
