Dr. Jenny Eales, BVSc (Hons)
Dr Jenny is one of our veterinarians here at Pet Circle. She graduated from the University of Queensland in 2006 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Hons) and worked in various small animal practices in south east Queensland for the next 15 years, before joining the Pet Circle vet team in late 2021.
Jenny has a special place in her heart for older pets and loves to work with them. She also loves pocket pets, birds and reptiles, and has a special interest in the human-animal bond and pet behaviour.
When she was a child, Jenny was lucky enough to live in an area where there was a lot of Australian wildlife and her parents did a lot of wildlife rescue with baby kangaroos, baby emus, spiny devils, and they even raised some baby camels!
Dr. Jenny's Pets
Dr Jenny and her family share their home with 2 rescued cats, 2 beautiful older dogs and 13 birds - a green cheeked conure, a rainbow lorikeet, 2 princess parrots, and 9 cockatiels (including her cockatiel Rexie, who loves whistling "Another One Bites The Dust" by Queen). In the past Jenny has also had pet rats and guinea pigs.
At Pet Circle
Dr Jenny is a member of our Vet Squad here at Pet Circle. She provides veterinary advice and counsel to pet parents via live chat and the Vet Pet Plan service. Jenny loves that she can provide more in depth advice to pet parents who request Vet Pet Plans, and answer any questions they have about their beloved pets. Her favourite part about working at Pet Circle is being able to help people to provide the best care for their fur babies.
