Author Profile - Dr. Gillian Hill, BVSc (Hons)
Dr. Gillian graduated from the University of Sydney in 2005 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science. She worked in a number of small animal clinics, before joining the Pet Circle Vet team in 2020.
Dr. Gillian has special interests in ultrasonography, surgery and behaviour. Her favourite part of being a vet is being an advocate for the animals. She loves helping owners to make the best, evidence-based decisions for their pets, and seeing the beautiful bond that people have with their fur-babies.

Dr. Gillian adopted her beautiful rescue dog Kipper in 2014. Kipper had been surrendered to a shelter a few months previously, and was an incredibly timid little girl. With time, and lots of gentle love, Kipper has grown to be a confident and joyful part of the family.

At Pet Circle
History: Dr. Gillian joined the Pet Circle Vet Squad in October 2020. As part of the Vet Squad, Gillian provides advice to pet parents through the Ask A Vet and the Vet Pet Plan service, and also support to the customer service team.
Dr. Gillian loves being able to provide depth and detail to pet parents questions, and give up to date, evidence based advice. She loves the variety of pets and inquiries she receives - she especially loves the 'curly' questions that require some research! Seeing the gorgeous photos that pet parents send through of their babies is a highlight of the day! Gillian enjoys to further her veterinary knowledge, and has completed further training in ultrasonography, behaviour and backyard poultry!
